Growing 3-9' with violet/purple blooms makes this one special. Seems to be fairly cold hardy. Frost resistant and hardy to +23 degrees F.  A dense shrub, flowers are 12 x 7 cm reddish purple with gold tips, full to part sun, mod frost, sand, loam, clay, dry, well drained, neutral, alkaline, screen, windbreak, slow growth, cultivar.
