The flower color is lime green, fading to dull yellow. This is one of the larger Banksia species as the mature size is a 50' tree.  Distinctive silver backed leaves, rapid growth in deep, sandy soils.  Native habitat coastal Queensland down to Victoria.

NOT SUSCEPTIBLE TO PHOSPHOROUS TOXICITY!

*Sow seed 1/8" deep in well drained media.  Give preventive fungicidal drench.  Germinate 3-12 weeks at 64 - 80 degrees F.
