A vigorous grower, very free branching with deep green foliage. The 10" long flower spike color ranges from orange to deep red.  The mature shrub size is from 6 to 12'.  Considered as one of the most easily cultivated Eastern Australia banksia species

DO NOT FERTILIZE WITH PHOSPHOROUS FERTILIZERS!

*Sow seed 1/8" deep in well drained media.  Give preventive fungicidal drench.  Germinate 3-12 weeks at 64 - 80 degrees F.
